Terry is in the bunker, she's thoughtful.
John approaches her.
John	Now I have to go.
Terry	Where?
John	Catherine has found a trace of Cameron, thanks to the deserters. She says she knows where Cameron is, and why she has not shown herself before.
Terry	When are you planning to go?
John	Now. This time it's an almost certain trace, she says.
Terry	You really care about her, don't you? You want to go, maybe never to return...
John	What are you saying!?
Terry	I thought you liked to stay here... I mean...
John	Listen, now I have to go to finish what I started. And more, I thought it was just a pastime, you said yourself, remember?
Terry	No, I didn't mean that... Why do you care your friend so much? What do you feel for her?
John	What I feel...
He's thoughtful. Looks ahead, slightly up.
John	(Looks at her) I feel responsible, that's what I feel.
Terry	Responsible!? Responsible for what?
He anxiously smiles, keeping his head slightly down for a couple of seconds.
John	I was 11 when that T-800 found me and saved me... He's been with us for just a few days... When we destroyed the factory who was going to build the Skynet he knew about, the Cyberdyne System Corporation, we thought that this would have avoided the war. He said that, to be sure, we should have destroyed also the last existing chip...

John	I've not been able to avoid that. When Cameron arrived, and I found who she actually was, I thought that the story was repeating itself again... Actually, I feared that... I didn't want it to happen again... I wanted to help her to... understand... But then things changed, and she remained "unprotected"...
Terry	"Unprotected"? John, she's a Terminator, she's not unprotected...
John	Well, if for "she's not unprotected" you mean that I could have emptied a whole magazine on her, causing her nothing more than some tickle, you're right... But that's not from an attack, or another Terminator, that she had needed to be protected... but from words... Too many times bad jokes have been made to her, just because she was who she was, not realizing that she hadn't had the time to change... to understand... And some times I misbehaved with her too... Well, more than "some times", actually... I swore to myself that I'd have not let it happen again, but I let something even worst happen... Too often I've treated her as a stranger, that's the real problem. (Looks at her with a nervous smile) It sounds absurd, doesn't it? You asked me to help you cause you think that I'm able to understand some things better than many other people, and I come here telling you all of this... But you don't need to worry, I'm no longer as I was... Let me just find Cameron, and then I swear that we'll do what we must!
Terry	If you really want to find her, then it's right that you go (smiling to him). Good luck (shaking his right hand with both hands)!
John	See you again... in a few days... ...or a little more...
Terry	Yeah... You don't have any intention of returning, do you?
John	What are you saying? I don't leave my friends: no one of them!
Terry keeps her head down.
John takes her shoulders.
John	Hey, are you jealous?
Terry	Hey, don't become full of yourself now!

Murch and Cameron are finishing to assembly their new TDE. {Time Displacement Equipment - time machine}
Cameron	Well, we should be ready.
She connects a laptop to one of the devices they have installed.
Murch	Let's try it on something that doesn't risk to get hurt... I don't want to have an arm in the place of my head.
Cameron	It doesn't work in that way: nothing that is not alive can go through the bubble. That's why my body didn't pass when John and Ms. Weaver went ahead.
Murch	I don't understand?
Cameron	Every thing, organic or not, that is not alive, will not go through, it will remain where it is...
Murch	You mean, "when" it is... So, how will we test it?
Cameron raises a small cage with a mouse.
She shows it to Murch and raises an eyebrow.
Cameron	We'll send it ahead of ten minutes.
Cameron types something on the laptop, and the bubble starts taking its shape.
On the screen a countdown appears, starting from 15.
She places the cage on a chair in the middle of the bubble.
The countdown reaches 0 and the bubble lights and disappears.
In its place there are the chair and the empty cage.
Murch	Will it arrive here?
Cameron	No, an incoming bubble is highly destructive. Luckily it's possible to set a slight offset, within a radius of some hundreds of meters. It will arrive just outside the bunker.
Murch	So we have to go up...
Cameron	Yes, let's go.

They're outside the bunker, at about 100m from the cavern.
It's evening.
Cameron	-30 seconds... As soon as you see the bubble, if it's close, run, or it will fulminate you.
Murch	OK.
There are some electric discharges at about 50m from the door of the cavern.
They are at a safe distance.
The bubble starts opening, and the discharges become more frequent and intense.
The bubble completely forms and then disappears.
The mouse is suspended in the middle and falls to the ground.
Murch and Cameron goes towards the place where it arrived.
On the ground there's a subsidence, with the mouse in the middle.
The animal appears dead, then revives and starts moving.
After a few seconds it starts running, but Cameron takes it by the tail and lifts it.
The mouse is fine and wags. She puts it on her other hand, still holding it from the tail.
Murch	Is it all right?
Cameron	Perfect. Test successfully completed. (Gives the mouse to Murch.) I've already instructed a computer with all our data, including those for John and John Henry, and I installed the equipment for the iris scan and the cameras to both the doors. In this way the computer will recognize us and open the bunker for. When Sarah returns we'll explain her what we have built, then we'll go to take back John. Finally we will return here using the same machine, with John.
Murch	In this way we'll bring the history back on its rails.
Cameron	And John can take back his position as the leader of the human race, after the Judgment Day.
Murch	There is really no way to avoid it, right (looking slightly down)?
Cameron	No, I'm afraid it doesn't... At most we could postpone it again, but the more we postpone it, the more Skynet will be advanced, strong, and hard to overcome in the future. I told you, you cannot voluntarily change the future by using information coming from the future, it would be a paradox.
Murch	Yes, I remember that...

John and Catherine arrive to the place.
It's another old bunker, much smaller.
John	Are you sure it's here, it seems abandoned.
Catherine	Yes, I've my sources, I told you.
John	I'll go, thank you for coming with me.
Catherine	I'll wait for you here.

Sarah returns to the bunker alone, riding an old motorcycle.
Murch	And that, where does it come from?
Sarah	Don't ask... looking at it, it was abandoned by a long time, and I needed it...
Murch	Mr. Ellison?
Sarah	He won't come back, he left with Savannah. He says it's better, both for him and the girl...
Murch	Yes, I figured it'd have happened... Actually, I didn't think he'd have lasted for so much time inside here... Put the bike inside the bunker, I've already moved all the cars and the other stuff. We need to talk to you.
Sarah	Something happened? Should I worry?
Murch	Worry? No, not at all... right the contrary! Park, close everything very carefully, and come to the server floor.

John enters and starts rummaging in the documents.
He tries to turn on the light, but it doesn't work.
From a dark corner.
Cameron	Hello John!
John suddenly turns towards the voice.
There are Cameron's feet, lightened, just out from the oblique shadow.
Above, in the shadow, only the blue light from her eyes can be seen.
John	Cameron, is that really you?
Cameron	Yes John. I heard you were looking for me.
John	Why are you here, it's months that I'm looking for you (approaching)?
Cameron	Stop! Why were you looking for me?
John	What do you mean "why"? Cameron, what are you saying?
Cameron	John, I heard that you followed Ms. Weaver to find my chip.
John	Yes, I wanted to recover it, to reactivate you and go back. Then your body didn't come through, and when we found John Henry I find out that the chip had been deleted, but that you were alive, in the past, with your body!
Cameron	John, do you know why I left?
John	Were you angry with me? Is that what you're saying? (He lowers his eyes) You have all the reasons to be...
Cameron	No John, I wanted to protect you... From myself! I was a threat to you, since the car explosion. You cared about me, and you've never wanted to send me away, or to terminate me. But I couldn't have allowed to put your life at risk again!
John	Well, sorry, but we should have decided something that big together! Why didn't you talk me about that? Maybe I've never told you, or proved, but I really cared about you... Although I realized how much I care you only once you left... (He lowers his eyes) I've been an idiot...
Cameron	I know, and this increased the risk. I just wanted to protect you.
John	I've never treated you as you deserved, but I'd have never allowed you to hurt yourself to protect me. I'd have found the way to help you. Don't you understand I wanted to do?
Cameron	That's exactly what was increasing the risk, and that was a risk I couldn't afford. But I didn't know that my solution would have caused all these consequences... Now I understand many more things. Listen John, I've learned a lot since you left. Initially I was inside the server you saw in the bunker. I've been there for many months, and Mr. Murch taught me a lot of things. He helped me to grow. He used to say that I was as I was, not cause how I was made, but simply cause how I had been trained... ...that I wasn't yet able to understand some things just because I needed more time...
John	You just had to learn, actually... to grow. I've understood that too late, I'm sorry.
John tries to get closer, but, as soon as he's going to move a step, Cameron raises her left arm, that leaves the shadow showing her open palm to intimate him to stop.
The hand doesn't show signs or scares of any kind, it seems perfect.
On the forearm there's the sleeve of a dress, maybe a jeans jacket.
John immediately stops.
Cameron	I hadn't understood it too... When I've reached a sufficient maturity, I transferred myself back into a chip, with all the parameters disabled, as I was in the simulation. No restrictions and no mission...

{Flashback}
In the main bunker, Cameron goes to the server room.
She's in front of the wall, and the projectors are switched on. She's seen from behind.
She has her hands on her face.
{End of the flashback}

In the small bunker, Cameron and John are still talking, she's still in the shadow.
John	And now, what are you doing here (pointing around)?
Cameron	I knew you were coming to find me. I was waiting for you.
John	Really, who told you, the deserters?
Cameron	No John, you did!
She walks a few steps ahead, out of the shadow.
The light from her eyes turns off while the face begins to be lit, starting from the chin.
John's face is stunned.
He looks at her and walks a step back.

{Flashback}
Cameron is still in the server room, in front of the wall.
Slowly her face is shown.
She still has a scalpel in her hand, and continues to cut.
On her face there are many wounds and cuts.
{End of the flashback}

John is surprised, then almost angry.
John	What is this, a joke?! You are not funny at all! What were you thinking?!
Cameron	No John, that's not a joke. That's me. That's always been me. I made myself a plastic surgery not to be recognizable, before leaving the bunker, even adding some protheses.
John	Cameron, is that really you?
Cameron	Yes John, it's me.
John	You've been with me... we did... How is that possible?
Cameron	Well, that wasn't the first time John... I knew you were looking for me, but I wanted you to understand why.
John	You wanted to understand what I wanted from you?
Cameron	No, I didn't want to understand anything... I wanted "you" to understand what you wanted from me! I gave you what you thought to be a real woman, but you still decided to come here looking for me. I forced you to make a choice, and you came here... But that wasn't me the one who needed an answer...
John	And not even to me. Not anymore! I've never wanted to admit who you were, or who you could be, or become. I've always been trained, by my mother, to think that the machines are just things, and may be the enemy. When I saw you there, disassembled, in the basement... I realized that deep down, in your way, you wanted to be my friend. I realized that, although all your mistakes, the quarrels, and the disagreements, I really cared about you... ...and that what you did, even when I didn't appreciate it, you did to help me... (Shrugging and smiling) Well, or at least you were persuaded of that!
Cameron	I still had to understand many things. Now I've changed a lot.
John	I've seen! Tell me something, all the time in the bunker, were you feigning, or was that really you? I mean, you laughed, you were...
Cameron	(Smiling) In this way you're offending Mr. Murch's teachings! No, I wasn't pretending, or at most marginally: I told you, I've changed... I feigned not to know some things, but that's always been me.
John	I'm proud of you (shaking her hand). I missed you, Cameron!
John pulls her to him and strongly embraces her, closing his eyes.
He gently moves his right hand behind her head, through her hair, while keeping his left arm around her, behind her back.
Cameron	John...
He hugs her stronger for a few seconds. He kisses her on the temple.
After some other moments he releases her, remaining in front of her and holding her shoulders.
John smiles, but his eyes are still wet.
John	I missed you...

Sarah goes down to the server floor, but she doesn't see anyone.
She turns over, is about to leave, when she hears a sound from the other area, behind the reinforced concrete wall.
She goes towards that area and finds Cameron and Murch.
Sarah	What is this place, I did not even know that it existed.
Cameron	It seems a former weapons repository, but now it's completely empty. The entrance has been expressly designed to be inconspicuous.
Sarah	What do you want to talk me about?
Cameron	(Goes to the laptop and starts typing) We need to go.
Sarah	Why, aren't we safe here anymore? Did something happen?
Cameron	Nothing has happened, and here nothing has changed, but we have to go to retrieve John.
Cameron continues to type.
Sarah	But how? The Zeira is destroyed... If you want me to get into another bank vault, this time let me know in advance!
Cameron	Welcome to the bank.
She continues to type and the bubble opens .
Sarah	(Looks at the bubble a little amazed) When did you build it?
Cameron	We built it in the last days. It's week that I was re-elaborating the partial projects from Skynet I had in my memory, and what I have seen building by the Resistance.
Sarah	So you redesigned it... Mhould I trust it?
Cameron	We have already tested it many times on various animals. They are all fine, I set them free.
Sarah	And where are we going? ...Well, I mean, when?
Cameron	I know exactly when John Henry arrived, and he will come here, to this bunker. At our arrival we'll be outside, but I've entered the data of our eyes, we can open the bunker.
Sarah	What are the plans?
Cameron	Restore the original timeline.
Sarah	So?
Cameron	We have to take John and bring him back to now.
Sarah	And Ms. Weaver? You said that, if she had needed John, she'd have been right to take him with her...
Cameron	I've never said that we'll come back immediately. John is eight years younger than he should have been, because of the jump we did in 1999. Even if we had to stay there for one year or two to help Ms. Weaver, once we returned back to now he'd still be younger than he should have been.
Sarah	Do you really want to stay there for one or two years?
Murch	Yes, don't worry, I provisioned a lot of very long preservation freeze-dried food, upstairs.
Sarah	(Looking at Murch) You already knew about this!?
Murch	Yes, since a long time, but we didn't know if she'd have actually succeeded, so we didn't tell you anything.
Sarah	I no longer have to leave the both of you together...
Cameron	Are you ready? Have you closed everything?
Sarah	(Showing the cylindrical keys hanged to her neck) Let's go find my son!
Cameron	Now I enter the data and start the countdown.

John and Cameron are coming out from the small abandoned bunker.
He is on her right, with his left arm around her shoulders. He smiles.
John	So the story about the shift in leadership, from the real Rudolf to you, was just made up, to justify your apparent age...
Cameron	Not exactly. As I told you a few before, that's always been me Rudolf, since the beginning of the war.
{Flashback}
Rudolf is in a narrow corridor, dark and low.
The floor is wet and full of wreckage, while the walls are dirty.
Kyle, Derek, and some other men are with him.
They walk staying down and looking around; they seem to be scared.
They have a couple of plasma rifles, and are quite dirty.
Rudolf breaks a wire netting using a rudimentary home-made shear, assembled with two pieces of metals joined by a bolt.
They scrape out of the corridor staying down, then sneak towards some wreckage.
In the background on their back there are two endos patrolling, but they're looking to the other side, towards the inside of what appears to be a factory in full operation.
{End of the flashback}
Cameron	I was perfect: no one knew who I was, no one knew my face, or my history. My name was made up... And I'm stronger and tougher than humans... and even than machines, up to a few years ago!
John	(Smiling) A Terminator leading the mankind... Think to the face they would do if they were to know that! How have you done, how did you know what to do?
Cameron	Well, I told you, I've had a good teacher.
John	Yeah... my mother...
Cameron	No. The story I told you isn't false, it's only shifted in time. I've actually acquired the leadership from the original leader... when you left.
John	Me?!
Cameron	Yes John, you. In the timeline in which I've been reprogrammed, you were the leader, more or less until some time ago. I was just your bodyguard, in the beginning, exactly as you have seen by yourself.
{Flashback}
Cameron is inside the first bunker that Rudolf was using.
She's standing, impassive while looking around. She's armed.
Near the desk two men are talking looking at some documents.
One of them is John, adult and with some deep scars on his face.
After a bit the other man picks up some papers, hints a military salute, and walks away.
Cameron opens the door for him, lets him out impassively, then closes again and remains on guard.
John sits at the desk and continues to check the documents.
{End of the flashback}
Cameron	You were becoming even more lonely, because all the people you grew fond continued to die. Eventually you didn't want to see anyone anymore, except me, because I was the one who less risked to die, that you less risked to lose... I became your middleman: I was the one who reported your orders, and who received the information and the reports.
{Flashback}
Cameron is talking with two men, outside the external door of the command bunker.
She's listening, then tells them something, and the men eventually leave.
{End of the flashback}
John	You become my spokesperson because I didn't want to see anyone else ...
Cameron	Initially yes, but not only. I had a view of the war and its strategies that was very different from yours. I could give you ideas that you would have never had. Of course the same was true from you to me too.
John	So you have proved yourself useful as a strategist.
Cameron	We are born to think of war. Skynet well trains us, and we very well know his philosophy. Unfortunately the strategies we elaborated together weren't always appreciated by the other humans...
A man is talking to Cameron in the tunnels.
She's serious, almost inexpressive.
Cameron	Perfect, I'll report Connor about the success, thank you for reporting.
Man 1	Success?!
Cameron	You've positively completed your mission. This is what had been requested you, so you reported a success.
Man 1	You talk about "success", about "mission positively completed"... We've lost more than half of our men on that mission.
Cameron	Losing men on the battlefield is one of the side effects of a war, it should be expected.
Man 1	That was a suicide mission! You know, people start saying that, since you're there (pointing the armored door) to give Connor your suggestions, the so called "missions" turns even more frequently into massacres...
Cameron does a step ahead, almost threatening.
He's a bit scared.
Cameron	You're not evaluating the situation from a global point of view. I have examined the available data of all the previous missions, to see how John Connor was carrying on the war against Skynet. You can report to anyone who claims that my recommendations are causing increasing losses, that the ratio between the progress of the war and the losses dropped by 36% in the last three months, while the rate of progress in over the time period has increased by 72%.
Man 1	Decreased? That's a carnage after another!
Cameron	Now we get more results compared to the number of losses. Although now you think that the losses are increased, that's just because we're accelerating the war. The goal is the final victory, to guarantee the survival of the mankind. The faster we perform our attacks, the lesser chances Skynet has to react and adapt. I expect to win the war within six months: many men will die until then, but the total number of victims will eventually be lower, and the result more certain.
Man 1	If we continue at this rate there won't be a single soldier alive in six months!
Cameron	If we don't win the war there won't be a single human alive in six years. Which scenario do you think is the worse?
Man 1	...they're right to say that it's all cause you: if you're filling Connor's head with these theories it's normal that he is acting accordingly...
Cameron	(Walks another step forward) Connor thinks that what matters is the final victory.
Man 1	I hope you're right...
Cameron	Anyway will report to John what you just told me, so that he can personally evaluate the impressions of the men on the battlefield. Thank you for suggesting.

Cameron	...although the global results were better.
John	So I finally gave you the leadership and went away... I don't understand, it doesn't make sense...
Cameron	(Lowering her eyes) Time ago your mother asked me why you had sent me back in time, why you didn't want me with you anymore.

Cameron	John you haven't left me the leadership...
John	Was I... (Frightened face)
Cameron	(Lowers her eyes) ...yes...
John	Was that you?
Gently puts his right hand on her face, softly moving his thumb on her zygoma to reassure her.
He slightly lowers to better look her in the eyes.
Cameron	You were always alone, and sad. You always talked me about that. (Looking at him in the eyes) I already told you, we talked many times about this. But I wasn't able to do anything but listening to you. I didn't know much about human behavior or loneliness.
John	What... what has that got to do with this, now?
{Flashback}
In the command bunker, adult John and Cameron are near the map and are talking about something.
He's rather scruffy, dirty and has some unkempt hair and bread.
Cameron	In that way we might fall into an ambush from here (pointing to map).
He seems to be distracted and sad, while Cameron continues to show him the map.
John	Sorry, I'm tired, we'll talk about that tomorrow.
Cameron	Do you want me to come with you?
John	No... You know I don't want someone to observe me while I'm sleeping... ...that's something my mother used to do, and it has always bothered me... Scared, I could say...
Cameron	OK. Meanwhile I'll look for any possible alternative.
John	Yes... perfect...
Cameron	Goodnight
He doesn't reply and walks away, going into another room and closing the door after him.
Cameron sits at the desk and switches on a laptop.
She's looking at the screen and, from time to time, types something.
After some time she suddenly turns to the door of the other room, and runs to there.

John	You mean that...

In the command bunker Cameron opens the door of John's room and looks inside.
She's amazed.

Cameron	We can't self-terminate, I didn't know you could have done something like that. I didn't know what to do. The task that I was assigned was finished. I buried the body, as humans do, and I put on some flowers on it. At the time I didn't understand why they did that, but I knew humans did and I did.
John	Is that why you wanted me to go to Dr. Sherman, you wanted him to help me.
Cameron	I wanted him to do what I had not been able to do myself. I'm sorry John.
John	(Putting his hands on both her shoulders) No. You did what you were able to do. That's me who did what I did. You couldn't have done anything more...

He puts again his left arm around her shoulders and they resume walking.
John	Is it then that you came back?
Cameron	No, I already told you: I had had a good example, and I became the leader myself. Although it wasn't part of my mission parameters, I continued what we were doing. I continued the war. Since they were already used to have me as your middleman, and that no one had seen you for months, I didn't need to do anything more than continuing the war letting them believe that you were still there. I decided almost immediately that I'd have come back, but I wanted to be sure to leave the situation under control, before leaving. When I've no longer been indispensable, I left.
John	So you had no mission, and no one sent me back...
Cameron	Correct. My mission was ended with your death, and the programming didn't have any value anymore. I came back because I wanted to do.
John	You came back to your own volition, to help me, and we treated you so badly... (Looking at her straight in the eyes while taking both her hands) I'm sorry...
Cameron	(Smiling) Don't think about that anymore: it's gone now.

John	What will we do now, we have to go back and fix what we have left unfinished.
Cameron	There's nothing unfinished John, I've arranged everything, and the war is over! Now we have to set the peace, and it won't be easy!
John	What you mean, you've arranged everything? How? And the theory that you can't change the future?
Cameron	The complete phrase is: "You cannot voluntarily change the future by using information coming from the future, unless you make sure that this information arrives identical, despite the modifications you made, to those who will have to decide to go back in time."
John	So?
Cameron	When the war began, I did exactly all the same things you did, exactly as you told me to have done them... ...Or as I knew, from my files, that they had happened. Everything had to happen exactly in the same way. When the other me arrived with Allison's look, I made told to program her with exactly the same parameters. I acted with her exactly as you acted with me... ...Well, almost... I told her exactly the same things... Eventually, a few months ago, I went away letting her believe I committed suicide. Now the war is over, she will return back too, and the cycle will be closed.
John	You arranged everything making it happen exactly as it had happened before... Ingenious (rubbing his left hand among her hair)!
Cameron	Oh, for the records, the accident on the Carter hadn't happened yet, when you asked me about it... I carried on that mission myself after your death Now the other me has done the same while we were in the bunker with John Henry and Catherine.
WHILE Cameron says the following rows we see:
Cameron is in the server room, her face is bandaged, in front of the projected images.
She removes the bandages and her face is shown on the wall.
There are still many wounds, almost healed, but the face is recognizable. She's Terry.
The HUD is shown on the wall, and a facial identification is executed.
"Not in memory"
After a few seconds a text appears:
"Finding similarities..."
It blinks for some seconds, then vanishes and is replaced by:
"Subject identified
John Connor
Matching: 83.4%"
Cameron	You wanna know what was one of the duties I added to Allison's mission?
John	What?
Cameron	Allison has been able to let Skynet believe that I was John Connor. She is a good actress, when she wants... and I became good in plastic surgery...
{Flashback}
Allison is in Rudolf's bunker.
Rudolf	When you meet our infiltrator, give him also this (giving her a two time folded paper). Inside you'll find further instructions on what to do with it.
Allison	(Takes the paper, opens it, watches it, and closes it again) OK!
Rudolf	You must also tell him to associate those data to me, as if that was my real identity.
Allison	What's the purpose?

Even to the other me I gave your data and your photo, and she knows about my plastic surgery...
John	But she has some sensors disabled! You're cunning!
Cameron	Sensors that will anyway reactivate at the first reboot...
John	When she'll try to open the safe... If you hadn't known who to choose to protect my mother, who'd have you sent?
Cameron	I'd have made the same choice. Kyle Reese was an excellent soldier, among the best ones, he deserved maximum trust, and he was young, a detail that allowed him to easily adapt.
John	You know that if you hadn't sent him, I would have never been born, don't you?
Cameron	Do you mean, "because the Terminator would have certainly succeeded in killing your mother"?

She remains thoughtful for many seconds.

John	(Surprised) What?!
Cameron	You've always been a bit vacillating because, despite your mother's teaching, you're not John Connor!
John	What are you saying?

In the bunker, in present days, Cameron enters the data on the laptop that controls the TDE.
On the display a countdown appears, starting from 15 seconds.
They all enter in the bubble.
The countdown continues:

Cameron	(Looks at Sarah) I'm sorry Sarah.
She jumps out of the bubble.
The bubble intensifies, then disappears with Murch and Sarah.
Their clothes are piled on the floor.

Cameron and John are still talking.
Cameron	Not where... when! 01/01/2030!
John	You're a genius! You planned everything up to the tiniest detail... Ah, I thought I should have still needed to teach you many things... (Rubs a hand in her hair) Let's go to rebuild this planet... Together, as I already promised you!

They arrive outside, where Catherine is waiting for them.
John's still keeping his arm around Cameron's shoulders.
John	Tell me one more thing, has she (pointing Catherine with his head) always known?
Cameron	No. I knew where you'd have gone, and two weeks ago I went to meet her in the bunker. She wanted to tell you everything, but I asked her to wait.
John	(To Catherine) Well, it seems that you have fulfilled your promise!
Catherine	(Superiority look) Did you have any doubt about that!?

Cameron takes something from the pocket of her jacket.
She holds it in her semi-closed hand, and looks at it.
John	(Looks at what she has on her hand too) What is it?
She has a melancholic face, but smiles.
She opens her hand.
Inside, yellowed by the time, there's the Möbius strip
Cameron	My father made it...
He looks at her with an amazed face.
He says nothing.
John gently closes her hand.

Meanwhile, Sarah's voiceover says
Sarah	"Know the enemy as you know yourself!". Sun Tzu wrote it over 2500 years ago. I don't think he meant just "know his weak points and study his strength". He didn't only want to warn us to never underestimate an opponent. I think the real meaning was "Understand who is really your enemy and who is your ally"! In a normal war an enemy soldier is just a man like us with a different flag sewn on his shoulder. Was it really so different here? Can I really know who is my enemy and who is my ally only knowing how he is made, if a Terminator can voluntarily decide to lead the human race to victory, while, a little farther, two men are killing one another by fists for a can of beans? A soldier, whichever species he belongs to, is really responsible of the faction he's fighting for, if he has not chosen it? In the war against the machines, a few machines have saved the human race. But did the human race really deserve to be saved?
Terry is outside the bunker, inexpressive face, slightly bent forward.
The wind that comes from her back moves her black hair to her face.
There's an intense glow in the distance, then it appears the mushroom-like shape.
It's the Judgment Day.
